1. Introduction
Welcome to USFlooring. By accessing our website and using our flooring services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Definitions
"Services" refer to flooring installation, repair, restoration, and consultation provided by USFlooring.
"Client" refers to the individual or entity purchasing services from USFlooring.
"Site" refers to the website located at www.masterfloor.com.
3. Services and Estimates
We strive to provide accurate estimates based on the information provided. However, final pricing may vary based on actual site conditions, subfloor requirements, or unforeseen structural issues discovered during installation.
- Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
- Any changes to the scope of work requested by the Client after the contract is signed may result in additional charges (Change Orders).
- USFlooring reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the highest quality of work, the Client agrees to the following:
- Provide clear access to the work area at the scheduled time.
- Ensure the work area is clean, free of personal belongings, and ready for installation.
- Disconnect and move appliances, electronics, and furniture if agreed upon in the contract.
- Maintain a suitable environment (temperature and humidity) for the flooring materials during and after installation.
5. Payment Terms
Payment schedules will be outlined in your specific Service Agreement. Generally, the following terms apply:
- A Deposit (typically 50%) is required to schedule the work and secure materials.
- Final Payment is due upon completion of the project and client satisfaction.
- Payments can be made via Cash, Check, or Credit Card. A processing fee may apply to credit card transactions.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. However, cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee equal to the deposit amount.
7. Warranty and Liability
USFlooring guarantees workmanship according to the warranty terms provided in your contract. We are not liable for:
- Defects in the flooring material itself (which are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, not USFlooring).
- Damage caused by water leaks, flooding, or excessive humidity after installation.
- Normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or abuse of the flooring.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, USFlooring shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
